QUOTES
“Peace and being an entrepreneur can coexist.”
“There's a difference between forcing things that shouldn't be as opposed to learning things that you need to learn to become. You get, there's a key difference between those two and discerning the difference between those two, of course, is very important.”
“Where a lot of people go wrong is they solve problems that don't exist and get emotional about them. There's not like a big, painful problem there. And then they take it very personally and the market rejects them. And they basically just haven't refined that thing of being completely objective. And the other thing they did is they tried it on their own. And that's why we always say to our students, get in a mastermind of people that are not you, that are outside of your head, then can test your assumptions against a framework objectively. And because there are a lot of dumbasses out there that are selling the right thing at the right time and solving a real problem. And despite being stupid, making a fortune, right? You know, so that's what business is. It's not, it's not sitting around in a circle and being positive mindset or affirmations. It's product market fit. If you solve a real problem in a unique way that people really, really want, you're going to be successful.”
“There's a couple of things there that are very specific because I've been in this journey myself. The correlation between money and happiness runs out when your basic needs are taken care off, from there on the correlation between an increase in money and increasing happiness just sort of isn’t there.”
“Don't spend all your money on shit that ends up owning you. The more you own, the more it owns you. That's it. You know, and if you get those things together and then you do work that's meaningful and you start leading from your heart more, you stop wanting to control everything and start really living the way that you talked about. That's it. That's as good as life gets. And make it an inside job.”
