QUOTES
“As an entrepreneur, schedule, time, how I'm spending that time, that has always just been a very, very important issue to me and just kind of front and center to me.”
“I just think that whatever you're doing, whatever you can do today to make every day something that you're happy with and that the process of what you're doing, what you're building, whatever it is you're pursuing makes you just as happy as whatever that end goal is, I think is incredibly important.”
“I just think comparison to somebody else's benchmarks that they've established, that they've defined success and you're comparing what you've done or what you're doing to their definition of success, whether that's a mother, father, significant other, a peer that you see in the industry that you think is doing better than you. I mean, any of those types of things. I think that that's a major, major killer.”
“You can't argue that money is an absolutely critical factor in being able to live how you want to live and being able to enjoy things and do things for nice people and take care of people that you love and all that good stuff. It just is. But if you are basing your happiness on how much of that you have, it's a disaster.”
“Have as effective communication as possible and openness and, honesty abou everything that kind of comes along with it, I just think is critical if that relationship is going to survive.”
“Health, spiritual health, relationship… Mental health is so important for us entrepreneurs because you can go down some gnarly, gnarly, gnarly, dark pathways. And if you're not careful and again, like, physical health is so, it's just so important. So, and then integrity and then freedom after that, because you can't have freedom, spiritual freedom, emotional freedom, relationship freedom, and true like financial freedom if you've sold yourself out on the pathway up there, which is why integrity for me is front and center is my second value.”
“Leverage. It's amazing what you can do when you think differently. And I think that this is what, for us to live the lives that we actually want. I think a lot of people don't realize the power that they have if they just teach themselves to think differently.”
“Just lift your head up, like you said, go find other people that can give you a different perspective that know how to solve problems that you don't know how to solve yet. And just give yourself that chance to get out of your spin cycle that you're caught in. It can be such a eye-opening thing and I think can just give you that break that you need to find a new perspective, new strategies, all that good stuff that can you know, I don't know, just make what can seem like a very, very dark cloud and maybe something you can't escape from all of a sudden, you know, there's light and there's opportunity again.”
